“Vanidade”. Viña Almirante.

Vitification: 100% hand-harvested Albariño from the Val do Salnés subzone of Rías Baixas, Galicia, where Atlantic-influenced coastal conditions drive crisp acidity and saline minerality.
Vinification: Full destemming, partial cryomaceration, pneumatic pressing, cold static racking, then fermentation in stainless steel at 17°C; 12.5% ABV, no oak.

- smell: med intensity aroma, fresh/ripe stonefruits, honey (i think i would have mistaken this for pinot grigio if it werent for the ripe peach fruit quality).
- taste: good med+ acidity (not super tart). bitter after taste (phenolic bitterness), bitter citrus. med+ body wine has roundness.
