👀: purple, surprisingly deep concentration of color
👃: spices, strawberries, dark fruit, blackberries, fresh to ripe. there was a bit of perceived chocolate / coca cola which points oak but surprised me knowing the wine since they prob don’t oak barbera dalba??
👅: dry, not fruit forward but dark fruit and hint of obvious strawberry was there. could taste a bit of the chocolate too so that continued from the nose to the palate. on structure, med tannins but incredibly smooth and polished, low acid, med alcohol (has some warming quality), medium body
